Midlands Specialist Private Hospital was founded in February 1988 on the principle of creating a healthcare facility for the greater Pietermaritzburg community. As part of the evolution of healthcare both locally and globally, we embarked on an expansion project to ensure our community and patients have a world-class facility. This has culminated in the Midlands Specialist Private Hospital, situated in the CBD of Pietermaritzburg. Today the hospital comprises of 274 beds across all major heatlhcare disciplines and incorporates a multi-theatre complex that consists of a lamina-flow theatre, cardiac theatre and ceasarean theatre. The Hospital's Centres of Excellence are progressive and serviced by specialists palying a critical role in our value proposition. Our core principle is to build and sustain partnerships that will culminate a meaningful colloborations with positive outcomes.
